Our expectations
Required
- 5+ years of experience building pipelines for processing large amounts of data
- Good experience in writing documentation and preparing presentations for customer reviews
- Experience in developing data solutions from scratch
- Knowledge of databases, including Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands-on with querying the databases, identifying requested data elements
- Knowledge of data warehouses (and modern data platforms) organization, e.g. medaillon architecture, Kimball approach, etc
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools, including cloud-based (Azure)
- Good knowledge of Python, specifically its application within the PySpark framework
- Practical experience with Delta Lake
- Experience in requirements elicitation, direct collaboration and negotiation with the client
- Excellent verbal and written English skills to work in an international team environment
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Entra ID, and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with REST API integrations
Your responsibilities
- Write documentation and prepare presentations for customer reviews
- Provide decisions on the selection of tools according to requirements
- Design the Data Warehouse, both solution and data architecture
- Identify source systems, possible data integration and data ingestion tools
- Develop data solutions from scratch
- Document data sources, data integration and transformation pipelines
