Our expectations
Required
- 4+ years of professional QA experience in software testing
- Strong experience in manual testing across multiple platforms: Web applications, Desktop applications, APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.), Mobile applications (iOS/Android)
- Ability to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation
- Proficiency with AI tools integrated into QA workflows (e.g., AI-assisted test case generation, automated defect detection, or exploratory testing support)
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
- Understanding of SDLC and QA’s role within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments
Nice-to-have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and QA’s integration within DevOps practices
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms
- Basic knowledge of performance and security testing tools
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium)
- Scripting or programming ability (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML model validation and testing
Your responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation
- Perform manual testing of web, desktop, API, and mobile applications
- Use AI tools as part of the QA toolkit to enhance test coverage and efficiency
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through the defect lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality - Define and establish QA processes and best practices for new projects
- Act as the sole QA when required, owning the end-to-end testing process
- Contribute as part of a QA team, ensuring alignment with shared goals and standards
- Propose and drive new ideas, tools, and methods to improve testing efficiency and quality
- Mentor and support junior QA engineers when applicable
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and provide input on quality-related risks
